I haven’t always been a runner
Far from it! I was a fat child. My mum loved me toooo much, and she still does but now I’m in charge of the cupboard! I came to Running quite late in fact in my 20s. And only really dabbled. But then probably in the last 10 years I have entered more and more races 5K 10k 10 miles half marathons and very recently marathons and Ultra marathons.

What I have now noticed being menopausal, is that things are getting tougher. Things are aching. I’m hotter and not in a good way. I’m tired, I’m really tired. I’m not sleeping well. I’m grumpy. I’m really grumpy. I’ve tried HRT kudos to you ladies who can manage that. But one thing I do know is running is an absolute lifeline for me and what I hope to do with this blog and vlogs is to share my menoruns with you and hope that you’ll do the same.
We are not fast, just furious!
